Archtop - Gretsch Style
A fine 16" hand carved acoustic archtop guitar with spruce top, flamed maple neck and back, rosewood fingerboard, bridge and fingerrest, and benedetto floating pickup. It has an abalone inlay in the head, heel and at the 12th fret. Furthermore there's a unique height adjustable tailpiece fastener developed together with Peter van Hulten. If I'm not playing on my Jumbo flattop, you might see me playing on this one. It's very suited for jazz of course, but I also like to play bluesy, rock & even ballads on it. A very versatile guitar and though it's an acoustic guitar no feedback problems at all.
